More of the excellent series that is Injustice. Tom Taylor continues to deliver a riveting story, the art is still solid. I can't wait for volume 3!

Well I won't say things aren't dire, but there were a number of moments where I cheered, or at least went 'phew', which I call a win when the stakes are this high. Way too into this series to go into details without immediately being in spoiler territory, but glad to see my faves up and about. 😏
I appreciate the blend of 'world in crisis on political and environmental level' and 'world under threat by super powered villains'. I'm invested!

Injustice continues to be a compelling story with a fresh perspective involving all the heroes (& villains) we know and love--with some that you don't get to see too often!
This series is a prequel to the hit fighting game Injustice 2 (which I HIGHLY recommend). It's like Batman vs. Superman, but way better. The writing is lovely and the art/character designs are super.
Vol. 2 is really a 4.5 star rating for me--Tom Taylor hardly disappoints.

Dear DC: Tom Taylor should write all the things.
This installment is a bit disjointed compared to previous outings, but Taylor at 3/4 speed is still better than most writers working at full strength.
Ra’s al-Ghul is angry about humanity’s destruction of the natural world, but his idea to wipe out vast swaths of people puts him on the wrong side of everyone. His choice to hold superkids hostage to ensure Batman and team won’t interfere with his plans is misguided. Of course Team Batman is going to come after him. Naturally tragedy ensues. How could it not?
I suspect this story is going to get much worse for everyone involved, especially once Atlantis comes under attack by the US. I can only hope it will be as epic as previous installments. I trust it will.
I’m completely on board with Damian’s assessment that everything is ultimately Batman’s fault. If he had killed The Joker at any point, none of this would have ever happened. Sparing Joker’s life has always been irrational, and Damian’s accusation that Bruce needs people he’s close to to suffer and/or die in order to fuel his crusade is spot on. Here’s hoping that realization plays out in the next installment.

I know I said last issue that we're back, but now we're really back!!
This was even better than the first volume. The action picked up and the characters were as complex and driven as always (seriously, this is I think my favourite incarnation of Harley). We got way more Barbara (always a fan of more Barbara!), and it's always so fun to see her relationship with Bruce and just how much they trust each other and how great they work together.
I will say that I do miss seeing Superman consistently, but Ra's is a pretty good villain.

After reading so much Marvel, it has been great to take a break with some D.C.
For the record I really enjoy the Injustice graphic novel series. The story is amazingly interesting, the character interaction and development intriguing, and the art work astounding.
This second part to injustice 2 continues to deliver on all the things we came to expect from the first series. Mindblowing action, great discussion of morality, the role of heroes and justice, and heroes doing terrible things, but in ways that make sense.
If you enjoy D.C. or Injustice this is a must read.
