This is the weakest book in the series. The characters, when mentioned in the other books, seem interesting enough but as mains, they are irritating and thin.
These books are escapist lit and that is great. They do it well. Until these two. Every word and action from him is grating and feels more offensive to a modern woman than something anyone would swoon over, especially, what is supposed to be an independent, alternative young woman.  She has the weak humor of a middle aged mom who reads her daughter's diary to stay hip. Her spine gets so little use it has withered to ash. These two wouldn't get along. I cannot suspend my disbelief that much.
The secondary plot lines are also an afterthought, tacked on for good measure, just like this portion of the review.

Cam and Avery’s book will always be my favorite because it’s Cam and Avery you know. So it’s not really fair to compare the other books in the series to that one, but this one is by far my favorite out of the rest of the books in the series. I’m fact Reece and Roxy are super cute as a couple and come really close to Cam and Avery. Reece is so perfect and I mean he’s SWAT do I need to say more.

My Review:

Fall With Me was another amazing book by JLA. I instantly fall in love with Reece and Roxy. Their story was steamy, intense, and every bit wonderful in true JLA fashion. It seems like each book in this series is a pure gem; original, and delightfully entertaining.

Roxy is probably now one of my favorite heroines. Spunky, cocky, and dressed in witty, dorky T-shirts, she’s a girl you have to admire. However, she still battles with a past that seems to haunt her every decision. Throughout the book, though, she showed that she is a very tenacious character; strong willed and a bit hardheaded. I loved that about her though.

Reece is, good Lord, another SEXY male character created by JLA. Jesus, she can write some wonderful men. Reece is such a kind and caring individual. And though he too has made some makes by Roxy, he tries to always do what is right. I also loved that he doesn’t beat around the bush. He pretty much goes for what he wants and that also included Roxy.

Together they are a combustible couple. Their banter was a wonderful part of the story and something I just loved. The spark between them is, of course, undeniable. Though they are back and forth, have their ups and downs, and their rocky moments, they seem to always stick up for each other. I loved how well they seemed to fit together as well.

Jennifer’s writing style, as always, swept me away. Her storytelling is purely magic; luring and very enchanting all in one. I was able to really connect with the characters and understand their way of thinking and their actions. The story flowed very naturally and built at a nice and intense pace. The character growth between Reece and Roxy was genuinely built and naturally flowed. The suspense kept me glued to the pages and though I pretty much figured out what was happening and who was doing it, the suspense and mystery was never dull.

Fall With Me was sexy, steamy, suspenseful, and an all-around wonderful read. And of course I highly recommend this series.

To me all of Jennifer's NA books are becoming the same. Boy and girl meet, both have sad pasts, fall in love, overcome it, yadi yadi yada. Doesn't mean I love them any less, just making a point. Jen can write the same thing a ton of times and make it amazing each time around. This time around we got a sexy cop, spunky bartender who loves to wear shirts with sayings on them, and a whole lot of steam. Not a bad combination.

In Stay with Me we got the hint that something went on between Reece and Roxy, we don't find out the full extent of it until Fall with Me though. Roxy has been in love with Reece since she was fifteen years old, and he never seemed to notice her. Eleven months ealier there was an incident, one that involved alcohol, clothes being removed and some kisses that still make Roxy blush to think about. But where Reece is too drunk to remember it and believes they had sex only Roxy knows the real truth. They didn't get that far. Guarding her heart Roxy did what she thought was best, hating Reece. Only that is hard when she sees his face almost everyday. Soon they start over, but will Roxy be able to let Reece in? But at the same time Roxy is loosing her best friend Charlie, who is in a long term care facility due to an accident from years earlier and she is being stalked.

Out of all of Jen's leading girls, Roxy is my favorite. She is snarky, a little nerdy, and artistic. There are so many qualities about her that I thoroughly enjoyed. She is also incredibly strong. Dealing with Charlie alone, those scenes nearly ripped my hearts to shreds. Jen managed to capture Roxy's pain in a way that makes you experience it along with her. Though I didn't find Roxy's past as dark as I found Teresa, Avery, or Calla's it was still painful. She is in the mist of loosing her best friend. Words said six years before and a rock changed her life forever. Reece was the character with the darker past, he went into the military from high school and when he left the military he became a police officer. Only shortly after being involved in a shooting that left an eighteen year old boy dead.

Fall with Me gets my vote of the steamiest novel in this series so far. Things said, referenced, done, found, thought about, ect. Sex plays into a huge part of the story though because for the past eleven months Reece has thought that they had sex and he was too drunk to remember, when really they never did, Roxy was so mortified at herself that she never corrected him.

Overall Fall with Me was amazing. I devoured it with in a few sittings and I can't wait until book five. Jen used the perfect amount of mystery and suspense with a mix of romance and steam to keep Fall with Me from loosing your attention. I do want a book seven from Katie's POV though. She is my favorite minor character.
