The poems in this book were all written during the first months of quarantine in 2020, and in a lot of ways the specific concerns and emotions tied to them will be familiar for readers (at least, until enough time passes that the pandemic is a distant memory). It seems likely the pandemic will produce a mountain of literature and art and other expressive media, and this is the first of those works that I've encountered. The book is brief, and I wish it were longer, but the poems in it expressed very real and tangible feelings and expressions of coping. I appreciated them, and I hope to read more works by this author.
