Quite a varied range of experiences and perspectives on relationships, being single, and autism from the various authors. Some better told than others, some more informative, and others more of their own personal love lives for you to compare and contrast and reflect on.

One chapter in particular stands out negatively. The author tells you of her relationship in which her husband displays several hallmark abusive behaviours towards her but that it's not abuse, it's all autistic behaviours - sensory overload, autistic meltdowns, and burnout - and that after 25 years of screaming outbursts, and finally getting her husband to stop punching holes in the walls because it was frustrating to repair all the time, that this is somehow a relationship dynamic to model as healthy to autistic people seeking out information, help  and/or different perspectives with their own love lives that they've been struggling with! The insistence in the chapter that all though it may sound alarming to the reader it's totally fine with no further discussion on how or why this behaviour is alarming in relationships other than this woman's was a very bad decision on all parts.

The only reason why my review isn't lower is because some of the other chapters were really good, funny, and interesting comparatively.
