I like Song’s plots and the trajectory she takes when crafting a story. Each are unique and this series is no exception. The characters are lush and the world building complex. My only issue? Some scenes feel superfluous and ‘extra’ - it doesn’t detract from the plot, but can bog down the flow a bit.

Year two, loved it!
I don’t know why I didn’t finish this book when it came out. Year two has been on my tbr shelf for weeks now. I think I stopped reading this during a 7 hour roadtrip when i sat next to my almost two year old nephew when he was hating his carseat. So lucky me, i got to enjoy this one in peace now when I’m home... Silver and her team of boyfriends go through alot this year. Someone is trying to split them up or hurt them and the betrayal came i was like Oh that makes sense and Wtf!
I can’t wait to jump into year 3. Highly recommend this series<3

Another great book
I really enjoy this series by Yumoyori Wilson. The second installment is just a good as the first!
I love Silver and her guys. They get closer in this book and the growth in their relationships are really well done.
Ends in a good place but leaves me wanting more. I can’t wait for the next book.

This was good.
I've rated it as a 3 because it wasn't perfect. I'm intrigued about who is actually behind it all but it felt quite rushed and that sex scenes were more important than the actually fantasy world.
Going to read on, hopefully next book is more of a solid read.
