Definitely not fun like the other two in this series. Poor Ava is stressed to the brink throughout this whole novel, and Tristan is a shallow ass for most of it as well.

This book was honestly so weird, but also funny and unique and therefore very entertaining. I’m glad I read it.

The book would have you believe that Tristan isn’t an anti-hero and that he should be mad at Ava for keeping her secret. WHEN HE LITERALLY TRIED TO FIND THE UGLIEST WOMAN TO MARRY. Anyway, I read it, it was cute. I would have written it differently.

Overall some fun moments like the proposal and poetry competition. Tristan is genuine and caring with some sweet , hidden layers. Ava is described as fierce and fiery, but we only see this when she defends Millicent and later on Tristan. It seemed like all the “good” characters were part of their inner circle, which made it feel a bit predictable.
