Strangers in Paradise, Volume 5: Immortal Enemies by Terry Moore

The story begins to focus on Darcy and that noirish world, but the rest of it is the same ho hum, bathos laden soap opera that it was from the start. Rather than feminist, it's quite sexist and full of all sorts of misandry (I would never have guess Moore hated himself). The art is still nice, but I was starting to feel that this was going nowhere and had nothing to say at this point in the disastrous period known as the 90s.

2012 Reread: I got lost in this for a month. My very first full reread since the series hit its ending. Since I knew where it would start and go and end up. It was just as terrible, wonderful, painful, heartbreaking, heart healing, amazing as every other read. I never stop knowing my heart belongs to this.
