Oh Gwen and Marshall 🥹 I went into this book nervous because I could not imagine these two together. Gwen the ice queen who shows no emotion and is all work. And then Marshall is the pretty boy, much loved, outgoing hockey player. They both have rough pasts that they must work through to fully be together, and watching them both work through trauma, open up emotionally, and fall in love was beautiful. Gwen is a top-tier lady, and Marshall is just 😍 I also absolutely love Gwen's friendships with the other ladies and would have so much fun being in that friend group. Between all the previous characters and these, I really enjoyed this book.

It read like a novella. It was just super quick with no background. There was once chapter where they didn’t want to be together then literally the next chapter they had a change of heart.

I didn't think I'd enjoy this one, as Gwen wasn't very likeable in the first two books. I do still think the 'friendships' were a little rushed, almost like they were necessary as part of the formula of the book, but I'm not entirely sure how we got to that answer.

Still, Hunt was a great male love interest, and I enjoyed seeing someone fall in love with someone who had been perceived as unlikeable. Definitely want to continue this series!
