Sock puppet erotica anyone?

Camille, the polka dotted sock puppet falls head-over-seams in love with charming and handsome Brad and when the pair come across a pair of knitting needles… well!  It’s a whole lotta bow-chica-wow-wow in the dusty old attic.  Until Brad tears her little cotton heart in two that is!

This wonderfully weird novella is wtf horror at its very best. Bravo @jamie_f_kort 👊🏻

"When I was young I met the most handsome, striped sock puppet in the world. He swept me off my cuff. The sweet words he’d whisper about my yellow polka-dots made me go all frizzy"

😳
I'm not entirely sure what I just read. Thank you to @jamie_f_kort for giving me the chance to read this, and for subjecting me to whatever this was. 😂
I'm not gonna lie, I kinda enjoyed it. I mean, I think I did? I don't even know anymore.

Basically, it was weird. Go read it.

“We existed in blackness, blacker than the blackest sock, unbleached by detergent.”

When Jamie reached out to me about reviewing A Puppet Scorned I can honestly say that the words “sock puppet erotic horror” immediately had me concerned 😂 but, I gave it a chance nonetheless. And I was not disappointed.

The first few paragraphs of this story alone had me thinking “What have I gotten myself into?” Sock puppet love making? Was I really reading this? I was. And…..it worked?

Written quite well and with A LOT of imagination; this is a story of a love obsessed sock puppet who is scorned by her sock puppet lover after their love knitting. Yep. Love. Knitting.

And just when I wasn’t sure if this was going to be a horror story or not THINGS GOT TWISTED. Camille is out for yarn, and she is not playing around. And she’s got the needles to prove it.

I’m happy I didn’t turn away from this story and I gave it a chance. I guess you can’t always judge a sock puppet by its yarn. I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a quick read (roughly 36 pages on the kindle) and want something a little different. Different as in “sock puppet erotic horror” different.
