I haven't read poetry in over a decade. I'm so glad I got the opportunity to read this collection. Maz's language and imagery skills are phenomenal. They carried me away into misty, faerie realms with the entire range of human emotions.
My favorite piece of a piece, if you will,
"She was made of gold and snowfall,
Yes.
But in the same way
Meteors are made of dirt,
Like
Oceans are made of water."
I can go through and fill this review with stunning bits, but this one is by far my favorite, from Una, Knave Errant. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who fancies the world of fantasy and sees its beauty in our own world.
