I enjoyed reading this book, Bull and his family are a great set of characters. His daughter being part of it was quite good and well thought out. Readers need to be aware though, that this book can be triggering to victims of abuse, especially in domestic situations and has some graphic violence as well.
That noted, however, the love story between Bull and Athena is well written and I was rooting for them throughout the book. Bull calling her Goddess the whole time was a bit annoying, but that is one of my personal pet peeves.
