The first half, maybe 3/4 of the book was sooo boring to me. Her “love triangle” was annoying to me honestly. Maybe it’s just not the trope for me, she came off as very whiny when it came to love. Once the action picked up a bit though, it kept my interest for a short amount of time. Ultimately, I only finished it because it had already taken me 2 weeks to push myself through it and DNFing wouldn’t have counted towards my read books for the year.. would’ve felt like a waste of time.
