I had to read this book for a college class but even though it is for kids in 3rd to 7th grade, I learned a lot. I felt it was very age appropriate, explained things well, kept it interesting, and teaches about more than just Bill Gates. I liked the timeline at the end as well. I really like this who is/who was/what is series because I think it makes learning and reading interesting for kids. I might just read a few more of these books because if you can learn more, why not?

I love these short biographies. Adult biographies are super detailed. I like reading these short highlights. Bill Gates sure helped advance computer software. I loved finding out that he donates 95% of his income. Crazy!

I liked it. One of his best people who was an employee wasn't in his company anymore. By the end of 1981 the company had 130 employees. By then end of 1985 they had nearly 500. He was a billionaire when he was like 32. At that time it was $8 for computer time for 1 hour on it. If you paid $8 you could get 66 comic books.
