Love love love the concept of rouge A.I. causing chaos. The setting of being locked in an escape room also gave it very claustrophobic creepy vibes that I was LIVING for! I loved that it really showcases human nature when normal people are put in survival scenarios.
Graphic: Fire/Fire injury, Injury/Injury detail, Toxic relationship, Confinement, Death, Murder, Blood, Bullying, Cursing, Drug use, Gaslighting, Drug abuse, Grief, and Toxic friendship

This book was a bit messier than what I would’ve liked. Annoyingly, the characters’ actions did not make any sense just for the sake of the twists that felt super random and only for shock value.

I always have a lot of fun reading Foxfield's books. As I've come to expect, it was a page-turner full of thrilling elements, and it's definitely one of her best. The setting and atmosphere of this book were done really well, however I did find the characters to be not as well-developed as they could have been. And for a book where the entire point is that people can't be shoe-horned into stereotypes, this felt like a bit of a let down.

Uhmmmmm
I liked the concept of the book a lot but I do think the characters themselves let me down a bit.
I don’t know how to explain it but I guess the whole point was to show that humans can’t be put into boxes/stereotypesbecause of all their ‘secrets’ and how they didn’t fit into their stereotypes , ultimately that’s how they got out bcuz light man is a basic bish
BUUTTTTTT… I think the author was trying to say they weren’t their stereotypes that most of the characters came off as cringe and one dimensional.
***SPOILLEERSS**
Millie just kept going on about how Georgia was so smart and yeah sure , it alludes to she’s jealous but there wasn’t much more development to it 😭
And each time they died, I really didn’t care. When I thought Joey had died and Aiden, I got upset for a few seconds😭
I think if they had their own POVs that would have been better, Saffron was hardly in it so I didn’t care much for her either 👀
But GEORGIA was the MPV of that book for sure, the fact her thing about the word ‘bitch’ came to such a funny and well deserved conclusion was the best part for me 😭😂
Couldn’t give a shit about Henry either 🙂🌝
