This short story is a wonderful addition to the Glass and Iron series, and my favourite instalment. I loved the insight we are allowed into Ehtishem’s world, and the back story to his hunt for Rachel is a wonderfully subtle way to show us the depth of his character.
Here we are introduced to some new characters who have great potential and I hope we see them again. I especially enjoyed the new places we are taken to; ‘Haven’ particularly is a delightfully complex and captivating place. All in all, a great little story that leaves you wanting more.
