The mother of the three gets revealed, and they hate her for it, for lying, in a way that's really gross to read. Especially since the main blame is on the mother only, and that she is somehow no longer "worthy" for having birthed them. Kinda feels like slutshaming.. And then in the end hollyleaf gets the mother banned from the clans.. And then afterwards tries to kill her??? Bc she has committed such a horrible crime.. Like wtf
I think I'll stop this series, this is kinda messed up
I read in another review that this was only done bc the writers couldn't figure out what super power to give her, and honestly, kinda believable? This feels really disappointing, I've had fun with the other books, even though they're kids books, but now they've turned the whole thing into a sh*tshow..
