Slim, yes. A fast read. Worth every penny. Reads like a beautiful poem, to be relished and re-read often. Is my opinion affected by the painkillers I've been given since tearing my ACL? My review may be, but I read the book in the emergency room while waiting (and waiting) to see a doctor.
Who doesn't need to be reminded of the necessity for kindness?

Short sweet, nice thoughts on regret and being kinder to others.

A guy's commencement speech. Meh. It was okay. I was more focused on the really cool illustrations and how those played out

Short, thoughtful, and a good read in moments of darkness. When “life kicks your butt,” as Saunders says. Really helps create a larger perspective, fosters peace

" 'Succeeding,' whatever that might mean to you, is hard, and the need to do so constantly renews itself (success is like a mountain that keeps growing ahead of you as you hike it), and there’s the very real danger that 'succeeding' will take up your whole life, while the big questions go untended."

Be kind.
