No words can describe how *seen* I feel reading this book. I could not stop laughing, for this was me as a kiddo, and honestly is me now. The illustrations and simple text combine to perfectly capture the hyperfixation and sneaky love of something turning into a whole obsession and personal identity of a kiddo! This girl is 100% in her pinecone world and everything else around her is irrelevant. So funny, and sooo real!!! 10/10
