I liked liked this book!!! I think it was cute. Jonathan was frustrating throughout the book but in a good way. I kept yelling at him to confess. I didn't like his brother at all. What kind of a person leave their fiancee (whose in a coma, woke up with amnesia) alone then ask their brother to pretend to be their fiancee? He was so immature and have a lot of growing up to do. I'm glad she ended up with him. I shipped them through the whole story. I definitely felt their connection.

Excellent read! I was truly concerned that there was no way Jonathan and Leighton's story could work out well. Thankfully Livesay worked some fantastic magic and made me believe in that ending.

Leighton's character development is beautifully done. She grows and recognizes how much a second chance is truly worth.

Something about the writing style and the clear evidence of lust and want over any real connection to a deeper emotion between the main characters just pulls me from the story every time.

Read this for the following video:Reading The Trope Amnesia

How have I not read Tracey Livesay before this? Why did I not? I was seriously missing out!
I loved this book. I think it really took a look at how a big life event can change your course. Sometimes it takes a little amnesia to turn you back onto the right path.

Oh gosh this book is wonderful!

Tracey Livesay always makes her third acts pay off. This book is sweet and sexy, and yes there's deception afoot here, and drama, but it's not drama that's overdone. It's not excessive. It fees appropo to the meat of what's happening in the story.

I'm not generally a fan of amnesia stories, but this is done so well—sort of a reverse While You Were Sleeping.

Leighton and Jonathan are so great with one another. I love that Jonathan stood out for Leighton even when she couldn't remember everything about herself, she remembered him. Gah, what a great story.

Jonathan understood all of this, but hearing Adam put it in those words, made him realize what an asshole he’d been. “I never should’ve agreed to this.”
“No.”
“I have to tell her.”
“It’ll be better coming from you. Believe me.”
“I do. Thank you. And thanks for not hating me.”
“You’re my friend and I love you, man. But you can also thank Chelsea. She introduced me to the concept of shades of gray.”
Jonathan made a note to send Chelsea flowers and have her favorite meal from Quartet delivered to her office.
Yes.

“You’ve already helped me more than you know. Give my best to Chelsea. And I love you, too.”
Again

“You’re so beautiful.” His hands cupped her waist.
“So are you,” she said, and swept away a lock of hair from his forehead.
The billows surging throughout his body were expected, but he wasn’t prepared for the rush of tenderness that stole over him.
It shook him to the core. He pressed a hot, open-mouthed kiss to her belly, then ran his finger along the bottom of her shirt,
oh so slowly lifting it, wanting to give her the best experience . . .
“Jonathan?”
“Yeah, sweetheart?”
She licked her bottom lip. “This is really sweet, but . . . can we fuck?”
His mouth fell open. He was at a loss for words. Then he saw the mischief brimming in her eyes. Moving quickly, he lifted
her then dumped her on the middle of the bed, her squeal of delight adding fuel to his blazing arousal. He swiftly followed,
his arms bracketing her head, his muscles straining to hold his weight.
“Not feeling the slow and romantic?”
She shook her head and watched him, her eyes feverish, her lips curved in a provocative smirk. She trailed her fingers up
his arms, leaving raised flesh in her wake. “Do you know what I thought when I saw you for the first time in the hospital?”
Did he want to know? “What?”
“I thought you were the sexiest man I’d ever seen.”
That wasn’t what he’d expected. His dick hardened painfully.
“Want to know what I liked?”
Hell yeah.
He nodded.
“Your hands.” Her fingers encircled his wrists, braced by her ears. “They looked long, strong and capable. I imagined all
the ways they could touch me and I got wet.”
Holy fuck. He shook his head, trying to disperse the impending fuzziness as the blood deserted his brain seeking a new home
down south.
“You want to know what else I thought?”
Could he take hearing any more? She didn’t wait for his response.
“I could see the edge of your tattoo. It intrigued me. I wanted to know where it began . . . and ended.”
She turned her head, lifted slightly and traced the inked pattern with her tongue.
Yes

(edit and expand on this) great writing, great smut — but I think that I prefer slow burns
