A very quick, cute and wholesome read - I read it in about an hour - this short story accurately (if briefly) describes a few of the types of relationships people can for all kinds of reasons. Platonic to aro to queer non-romantic. And more I’m not able to name or describe accurately. I very much long for another short story or more information on how their relationship would function and/or how they end up. It’s very intriguing and cute. Also one of the first story’s ever to perfectly explain “yearning” and “home” as a concept pertaining to a person, in a way I relate to.

It was cute, but too short and fast paced and I felt like everything was the typical “tell not show” mistake. I know the author didn’t wanna teach a lesson or something but it felt like didactic quotes most of the times, rather then feelings. I appreciated Emma’s discovery of not pressuring herself but it was only 2 pages… and the relationship the two started felt like a “continuity” of friendship with more intense feelings. Which, okay, I know  some people have that but I didn’t see much of a development or shades in those feelings

This is a beautiful little story unlike anything I’ve ever read before. To see a queerplatonic relationship grow between best friends…. My heart is so warm.

Amazing ace & pcos rep in a romance of sorts. I felt connected to this story as a queer person with pcos. Quick read that may be a great resource for people on the sexuality and anatomy side.

A short but sweet story. It was really nice to see my relationship with my partner (I’m aroace and they’re not) reflected in writing. However, the majority of the story focuses on Emma’s past relationships, and I would’ve preferred more focus on the conversation and exploration with Noah without as much set up.

Such a quick and cute read! Loved this representation here and it felt like a great length for the speed and situation!
