This one was still good but not as good as the first for me. I feel like Alosa and Riden took a massive step back in their relationship for most of this book and I felt we already got the whole slow burn thing in the first one. I wish we got more of them being together! But I still loved their moments together! Riden was honestly doing the most!

Much like ‘Daughter of the Pirate King’, this was a fun, fast-paced and overall great read. Riden and Alosa are such a power-duo.
Highly recommend this duology if you like pirate/siren reads.

I did make the mistake of reading this RIGHT after I finished ‘To Kill a Kingdom’ so I constantly confused Riden with Elian and Alosa with Lira whoops (they both have red hair give me a break).
