I have only read Echo by Terry Moore before but I had seen a lot of praise for his strangers in paradise series. So when a humble bundle came along I decided to grab it all. And now I have read the first book. The story was a bit more over the top then I expected. I expected it to be even more soapy and less humoristic. That being said I still very much liked this. And Terry Moore's art is very beautiful. He is one of the few comic artist that can really draw female characters. They don't look like hyper sexualized male fantasies, while still being very sexy and beautiful. And they also have real emotions and real reactions (although with a bit of soap opera exaggeration) I'm looking forward to the next installment.

just started rereading this series, and yeah, I'd say I was pretty much hooked from the very beginning. I <3 Katchoo!

Strangers in Paradise makes the normal everyday activities of roomates Francine and Katchoo into something fun to read about.

What I liked most about SiP is that the characters are realistic. They may be a tad bit on the eccentric side, but they are 3-dimensional people that you or I could actually know.

I read this a long time ago, when I was first getting into comics, on the recommendation of a friend. I remember liking it, but I never made any effort to pursue the rest of the series. On rereading, that's changing. I'm along for the ride now.

Katchoo is the embodiment of my relatively new misandrist side. Obsessed.

I started working at a comic book shop a number of years ago without actually being a fan of comic books. As it stands now, I am still not a fan of most of the popular comics but this is one series that I could not put down. I loved this series from the start to the very end. Very well written, wonderfully illustrated and tons of heart. I was so sad to see it end but at least Terry understood that it needed to end. LOVE.
