This is a book that's definitely out of my comfort zone and I'm really glad I gave it a shot. It's moving and beautifully written. It's also interesting for me to learn about the life of queer veteran(s) in Toronto in late 1900s as I only moved to Toronto & had my own queer awakening all within the last 10 years.
