I received a copy of this book from Net Galley for my honest review.

I loved the book written before this Stupid Girl. In Stupid boy you have two main characters Kane (Brax from Stupid Girl's brother) and Harper a goody, goody sorority sister. In the previous book Brax's accent was super thick, I would've liked to of seen it carried over in this book. Kane is a bad boy just trying to get by. No matter how many times his brother asks him to stop running numbers he won't. Harper has a tragic past that she tries to hide behind her "spoiled rich girl" persona. Only Kane see's something in her that gives her away. Tragedy attracts to tragedy, who knows. Of course there are some other things thrown into this book which makes you wonder will they or won't they get together or stay together.

While previous characters do come into play you can read it as a stand alone.

Eh. First book was better. Not a fan of Harper or Kane or the insta-lustish stuff going on. Brax was way better. And I don't like how it ended...would've at least liked to see another scene with her supposed best friend who's hardly in the book and maybe even Olivia, who she seems to have a girl crush on. She's always talking about how incredibly amazing the girl is. Calm your tits, chica, there's nothing special about Olivia at all.

I thought this book was very insteresting It dealt with much more deep rooted issues. Almost a little disturbing. But not enough to turn me away from the book i just had not read anything with such disfunctional issues within the characters. Overall it was a very enjoyable read and you couldn't help but root for the characters. I specially appreciated how they definitely took their time getting to know each other. Not enough books out there where they actually take time to seek each other and do things together just for the sake of courtship. Great read overall. Thank you for the opportunity. P.S. yes I have read Stupid Girl and its another great and amazing book and I look forward to Stupid Love!

I absolutely LOVED the first book! Loved as in could not put it down and finished it in less than two days. As a sequel, this an okay book, but not as captivating as the first. If you're looking for an easy, light read, I'd go ahead and give it a try, but to me it seemed like a bit of a watered down storyline after having read Stupid Girl.

I would like to thank Cindy Miles for letting me read this book in advance and netgalley.
Stupid boy is the next book in the stupid in love series. It takes place right after the events of stupid girl but it is about two different characters. You still get to see some of Brax and Olivia. I love how the author kept them involved so your not having to wonder how things are with them. I find Cindy's book are all different from each other. The characters back stories and lives are totally different in one book from the other. Stupid boy is different from any book I've ever read and it will stick with you just as much as stupid girl does. This is great read, I can't wait for the next one.

Absolutely loved this book! I bought it on kindle along with the first but after the first (which I insanely loved as well) I was nervous to read this one incase it didn't live up to the expectation of the first one. But I'm so glad I did! I fell in love with the characters and the whole story. Would defiantly recommend !

Stupid Boy is the second book in the Stupid in Love series and can be read as a stand-alone.

Both stories center around a bet. Until those bets bring them closer to each other. Now, would those bets be the one to tear the delicate strand that holds the couple together? In this particular case, the couple is Kane and Harper.

Kane is Brax's brother in spirit but not in blood. They came from the child support system and was passed on from one family to another. While his brother may have finally found the love he deserves, Kane is still lost. Until he meets Harper.

Harper is the president of one of the most prestigious sororities in the university. With the yearly bet going on that leaves girls' broken hearts trampled on by the Kappa frat boys, she decided to give them a taste of their own medicine in a slightly different way: turn a bad guy good. What she didn't bank on was her growing feelings for the one she's chosen for their Dare: Kane.

I was hooked at the very beginning. The premise that the first chapter provided set the tone and direction of the story to a good start. As always, a book could do a little less of always describing and worshiping someone's eyes and hot bod. I would like to learn more of how they interact with strangers an those closest to them. Granted, how characters interact with others was present in the story but it led to loose ends while there were a lot of instances of Harper going on about Kane's "smoky eyes".

Both characters suffered from trauma in their lives. This paved the way to Kane and Harper's growing connection as they saw in each other a kindred: one who has also suffered in life. They understood each other in ways that others who has lead normal lives couldn't.They came to open up to one another who bore some semblance to the scars they have.

Having read the first book, this book has the same tone as that of the former. Both girls are broken in their own way. Brax, in his and Olivia's story, provided the security and trust she needed whereas Kane provided Harper the comfort and support to fight her demons. Both stories are equally good in their own right and endeared me to both couples.

Stupid Boy shows not only love but also the consequences of one's actions. May it be yours or of those around you, the decisions you act upon will, in one way or another, affect the lives they have.

I found myself enjoying Stupid Boy more then I thought I would. The book is the second in a series but can easily be read as a standalone, although I have not read the first one which is titled Stupid Girl and really wish I did read it before reading Stupid Boy since the two main characters from that book are around a lot in this one.

Harper Belle and Kane McCarthy are total opposites on the surface. Harper is president of her sorority, wealthy and very prim and proper. As for Kane he is the bad boy, he is into illegal stuff and has a not so good reputation. Yet when we get below the surface of what these two portray to the world we see that they both are just putting on a mask of sorts. Harper and Kane both went through some extremely crappy stuff at a very young age that has scarred them pretty deep. Miles really does an excellent job getting us to understand Harper's psyche with all the flashbacks and the nightmares, I'm not going to lie to you it wasn't an easy read and not in a bad way but it really gets to you to know that all this stuff happened to Harper when she was so damn young. Same with Kane, Miles did a great job in showing us his past which helped me connect with him better as well.

I liked the message Miles was sending with this book. Don't judge someone based off their outer appearances. A person may seem well put together but who knows what is going on underneath and then you have the "bad boy" Kane but we soon learn he had a really good reason behind it all and he was actually very far from the persona he portrayed to the world. So yep...never assume anything about anyone.

Overall I found Stupid Boy to be a highly enjoyable read and I'm actually looking forward to the next book and plan on reading the first book in the series soon.

This book…. OMG. I’m always a little weary going into the second book of any series because I have so many expectations after the first. The author could always go so many ways and I’m scared that the book wouldn’t live up to the first.

Yet, I was scared for absolutely no reason at all. This book was so great!

I really liked the twist on this book instead of the usual boy and girl have a dare out on each other, this time it was a dare on reform. Girl makes dare that she can change bad boy’s ways. So perfect. I loved how the book played out and how the characters were used. It was nice to see how different the characters were from the first book. I think sometimes characters can be kind of unique + characteristics from previous characters. Not in this book

Harper Belle had this outside shell that she put on to show the world that she was strong and she was capable. After so many years pretending to be someone she’s not, she gets a little confused on who she is and what she wants. The main reason for this is her grandmother. She has this fear that kind of consumes her life because she believes that if she steps out of line, she will be sent to a psychiatric award. This fear makes her into the person she starts off as in the beginning of the book. Harper dresses super preppy an dis never seen with a hair out of place. Her main focus is on school and turns down requests to hang out with friends for fear her Grandmother’s “spies” will see and report back.

Then she meets a boy. A boy that captures her attention. A boy who is the perfect subject of her dare. Get payback on the sorority that breaks girls hearts through dares by reforming some of the worst boys. A chance to give payback becomes an epic journey in this amazing book. But the dare doesn’t turn out quite like she thinks.

Kane McCartney. Formal foster brother of Brax, Kane knows what it means to hurt and be hurt by those who are supposed to care for you. Mistaken as the worst of the worst, Kane becomes Harper’s personal experiment and dare-boy. Yet she might be wrong about Kane because he has his own reasons for being bad.

All in all, this book was an emotional filled mess that will drag you in, tear you up, and spit you out. After this book you will need to take one of those book pauses where you just reflect on just how much this book has changed you! (Well it might not be this serious, but no joke, this book is fabulous!).
