This book fitted my mood. I was tired and enjoyed this more than I expected. Not great, but entertaining enough.

Originally read Jun 2015 Reread Sept 2020

I recently started watching Outlander and ended up binging the first 5 seasons in a week. I wanted a time traveling romance and remembered reading and loving this series.

The first 15% was very slow and I wasn’t connecting with anything. Right after that 15% mark everything came together and I connected with both of the main characters. I really enjoyed it and didn’t want to put it down.

I really enjoyed this novel. If you have read the Fever series, this is nothing like it, but a great romantic romance read for those who enjoy “old-school”-type romance novels.
