Florbela Espanca was a very unstable young woman and, in each of her sonnets, the reader either senses her feeling of insatiability or the one of true love.
I’ll start by saying that the critic study by José Régio before we get into Florbela’s work is very helpful as we get to understand her mind a little bit better; also, the way he analyses some of the verses is very rich.
Speaking about the sonnets, my favourites were in ‘Charneca em Flor’ and ‘Reliquiæ’.
Even though sometimes Florbela ends up being a little bit repetitive, she has this magical way of writing her feelings and, most of the times, disturb the comforted by her choice of raw words, expressions and themes, which I really liked.
Overall, I throughly enjoyed reading most of the sonnets and definitely recommend this book.

compreendo a importância da obra da autora, mas pareceu-me que os poemas eram todos sobre os mesmos assuntos, sendo que começou a cansar passadas poucas páginas. não sou especialmente fã da linguagem utilizada também.
talvez tivesse adorado se tivesse lido à alguns anos atrás mas agora foi só uma leitura redundante e aborrecida
