turns out i'm not a dog person.
loved the tv show Miranda, and her voice came through very strongly in her writing, but i wasn't keen on reading a whole book of someone (even a someone as funny as Mirada) rambling about dogs

Basically, if you like dogs (so everybody then?) you'll like this book. It's about loving yourself as much as it is loving a little fluffy dog (deep) with some really HILARIOUS bits. I really enjoyed reading it.

You can totally hear Miranda's voice throughout this book. I am not a dog lover, but Miranda's narrative and heart-felt descriptions almost wished I was!

I enjoyed this more than I expected to. I certainly wanted to read it and expected to enjoy it as a fan of Miranda Hart, but I'm not a dog person or even a pet person or animal lover in general. I thought it would be a fun bit about her life with a dog, but it was more. It's more autobiographical in specifics than her [b:Is It Just Me?|15733346|Is It Just Me?|Miranda Hart|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1341274679l/15733346._SY75_.jpg|21414594] or [b:Miranda's Daily Dose of Such Fun!: 365 joy-filled tasks to make your life more engaging, fun, caring and jolly|34233221|Miranda's Daily Dose of Such Fun! 365 joy-filled tasks to make your life more engaging, fun, caring and jolly|Miranda Hart|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1486903177l/34233221._SY75_.jpg|55289768]. As getting Peggy surrounded her making of her sitcom it was a more personal behind-the-scenes of that experience and even deep about her learning about relationships and faith through learning to live with and loving Peggy.

2023: My copy of the paperback, 9781444769135, about halfway through (in the Interlude and chapter 6) missing pages with them being replaced by earlier pages: 138-139 with 122-123, 142-143 with 122-123, 146-147 with 126-127, 148 is blank (not apparently supposed to be), 150-151 with 126-127, 154-155 with 130-131, 158-159 with 130-131, 162-163 with 134-135, 166-167 with 134-135. Now I wonder, was this my copy, this edition? Comparing/filling into the print, interesting to note little differences: lists are made with letters instead of numbers, and a few words are added in the audio, but also others in the print.
