Wow … this book was AMAZING!!! It was like Zoo by James Patterson, but better, in my opinion. Volcanoes are erupting, animals are attacking, and everything is chaos. The action never stops. The characters are interesting, diverse, and mostly likeable. The primary setting is on a cruise ship which made it especially scary for me since I'm not a huge fan of the ocean. The fact that this is based on actual science and theories surrounding toxoplasmosis is both fascinating and terrifying. I will definitely be reading the rest of this series and everything else written by this author.
