Read in english, of course, but this is what came up on goodreads. This story is effective, but feels manipulative. It's not a story I would recommend for understanding either good writing or the plight of homeless women of color.

Nothing against Ellison, but short fiction isn't my thing I guess. A few of the stories stuck with me, but I can't say I loved that many. It does make me want to read some more of his longer works, though. Read this for my book group.
