Read this for "Caver, Continue," which was a great short story addition to Caitlin Starling's "The Luminous Dead." In just a few pages, Starling adds a lot of depth to her world through the perspective of a narrator that is unreliable in different ways than the narrator of "The Luminous Dead." From this magazine I also enjoyed "Last Pale Light in the West ," which had some inventive prose and colorful imagery. I was disappointed by the other three short stories. I'm not usually a horror or grimdark reader, so maybe they're just not meant for me.
