I gotta say that I love that they’re making digital series now for Marvel. I swear I’m not only saying that because it means that Jessica Jones and Luke Cage get to continue in their own series…though it is a nice perk.
If you’ve been following the Jessica Jones digital series (and if you’re not, you really should be) then you know that Jessica is out of town and all sorts of busy. That leaves Luke with city duty and watching their child. Thankfully Luke is probably up for the task, and good luck hurting that little girl while he’s around.
This was a fun issue, split into two parts. As per usual Luke managed to get himself into a bigger mess than planned, but at least it’s proving interesting for us readers. There are a few unexpected references, like the one to a real life medical condition not talked about enough, which was a really nice touch. I have theories about that, but we’ll wait and see how it goes. Regardless – I’m very much looking forward to the next issue.
