Scavenge The Stars
⭐️⭐️⭐️

Such an interesting world, almost reminded me of Ketterdam and Ravka. I also quite liked the writing style.
Sadly though, I didn’t enjoy it as much as I wanted to. The characters were so boring, I felt like nothing ever happened. And when it actually did, it was just mediocre.
I kept waiting for something to happen, and then it just didn’t.
I was a bit confused about Bas and Cayo. To be honest I kind of shipped them first, they were cute. Then he just left.
I for sure thought I was going to give this one up, but some part of me wanted to keep on going and needed to know what was to happen.
So now that I’m done with this I’m finally going to read something else for a while.

I really wanted to love Scavenge the Stars but unfortunately I didn't enjoy it at all. From the beginning Boon and his plans are suspicious. Amaya doesn't ask any questions she just goes with it. I wanted more from the story.

I really enjoyed this! I thought the story was very gripping. The beginning was a little confusing, the timing of things was off but you didn’t know that till later. I had no idea that months passed after the first 50 pages. It was interesting to see how all of the characters stories intertwined, and piecing together what actually is and has gone on. I’m surprised by how much I actually enjoyed this and I’m excited for when the next book comes out. Now if only I didn’t have to wait another year....

I skimmed.

Blargh.

This isn't sci-fi and I have no idea why the title is what it is.

Ummm...

Content?

No real story to speak of?

Help.

This book held my attention from the very beginning. The story and plot twists were perfectly woven throughout, with the characters battling for answers. I enjoyed the multiple POV, as it gives the reader perspective that one character could not give. The ending leaves me curious and excited to jump into book two!
