I love the her dress. I'm pissed that the ending cuts off in this author's very irritating way of leaving just a smidge too much up to the imagination. Couldn't I at least get to read the moment where dress is SEEN by someone other than her? Pfft. Humbug. I almost deducted a star. :|

Once I start reading these books, I just don't want to stop. I love the world that Nora/JD has created and even though the books center around homicide, the characters are so loveable. I just want to be part of their lives!

Eve, cinayeti Mavis'in işlemediğine emin.

In Death Series Book #3

This was initially written as a trilogy and it shows how she tied things up nicely from Book 1 to here. As everyone can see it did not stop here and now has a huge number of books in the series. These first three are where the appeal started.
You have a tough woman cop solving murders. The cases are interesting with suspense and clues thrown in to try to figure out whodunit. Aside from the cases we have the romance between Eve and Roarke. It is done so well. There is love, tension, overcoming issues. Shows a softer side to both these characters. Aside from the romance and the cases we have friendships. More builds throughout the series with a great cast of characters. There is so much growth in the characters and the developing of the relationships.
While Book 1 had the introduction to the series and romance, Book 2 had the tension and the give, Book 3 has the adjustment to others in Eve's life. We find out more about her past and walls are broken down in many ways in this one. The crimes are gruesome and it's entertaining to try and figure out whodunit along with Eve. Though in this one something just didn't fit quite right for me there. The pull of this book for me was the romance and friendships.
