I went into this one with inflated expectations based on a blurb I'd read from Stephen King talking about how terrifying this book was. Well...hmmm...it was definitely entertaining. It was definitely a thriller with some twists and turns and a modern spin on the ghost story, but I was expecting horrifying and instead just got a fast-paced thriller which was very good. Amazing? No. Good? Yes.

Meant to be metafiction about the horror genre but clunky and some of the writing wasn’t great. Someone very very into horror might appreciate it.
