I know that this Graphic Novel is good but the stories are just like most of the Sci-fi films which I always watch, it's not new to me and not even make me excited.

Really loved this! It may be movie canon, but I really appreciated the extra inside look and I enjoyed getting to see some of Group B. I also love the Minho/Ben story and I really loved the Alby story (poor Alby) and it was nice to see that a lot of characters that didn't get much time in the book are in this graphic novel and it allows you to have a little look into their character.

Good summary if you've only seen the movies and have never read the books. A little misleading as it's titled "Scorch Trials" and covers every book in the series. I guess I don't have to read the prequel now that I got a 4 page graphic novel synopsis of it...

This graphic novel is a great addition for those who have both read the books and watched the movies. If you haven't done both (or at least watched the movies), this won't be very appealing. There was a great introduction written by James Dashner, in which he talks about how its okay that there are differences between the films and the books, and I completely agree. This graphic novel does a great job in answering questions that the movies never explained.
This book was an anthology of 5 different stories, of which my favorite was the view into the first maze.
SpoilerI loved seeing the different environment the girls lived in, and the different monsters were fascinating!

I liked the classic comic book style, and loved the attention to detail with the resemblance to the actors in the movies.

This book was so dissipointing. I was looking for an online quick read, and came across this. Me, being a long time Maze Runner fan, was like, "Oh this'll be fun." I started it, and it was more of a backstory theme, which I'm okay with it. (Spoilers) I don't even know if what they wrote was lore or not. I would think not because I recall one Maze Runner book saying that group A's maze was the same as group B's. I also recall there being more people who survived group B's initial test. This was the worst Maze Runner book I've read.

I LOVED this graphic novel.
As a fan of the series, I loved all the books however I always wanted a little more. I didn't understand enough about Group 2, didn't feel connected enough to Brenda, etc. This small graphic novel provided all the stories I needed to really grasp the scope of the Maze Runner world. The gorgeous artwork and honestly really good writing...it was just so much fun.

It’s a weak 3 stars for me.

The dialogue was awkward and the pacing was a mess, especially in Brenda and Jorge’s story. Considering this is mainly movie based, and Groups A and B weren’t the only mazes, Group B’s maze suggests that all the other mazes also had different climates and monsters. Very curious. The only reason I didn’t give this 2 stars is Alby’s story and WCKD’s origin. The story of how the Flare and WCKD came to be does patch up some plot holes found in both The Maze Runner and The Scorch Trials movie.

All in all, glad I read it, but it’s definitely not something I’ll find myself reading just because.

Edit: it did not get better the second time. Demoted from 3 to 2 stars.
