More mini-mysteries from Bow Street

This is the second collection of short stories set in the world of the Bow Street Society. Once again there are five tales here, all involving (in the main) different characters.
They are all good, but my personal favourite here is The Case Of The Ghastly Gallop. Here, two lesser seen Society members (Veterinary Surgeon Doctor Rupert Alexander and Mr Callahan Skinner, ex military man and weapons expert) look into the death of an expensive horse at the behest of an Insurance firm that think something fishy (horsey?) is going on. It’s extremely enjoyable, and it’s not the only tale in the collection that was fascinating.
A great opportunity to spend time with some lesser known members of the Society and some quick but satisfying mysteries too!
