This memoir is easy to read and well written. Nikki tackles difficult subjects with insight and a bit of light hearted humour so it never feels like you’re getting bogged down. I became invested in the story early on and I really just wanted to see Nikki and her boys come up on top. I was a little disappointed that it ended where it did, as I was looking forward to seeing Nikki in a good place. While we got a little bit of this good place she ended up in, I really wanted more. All in all, this is a really good memoir, well worth reading.
