This is such a unique take on soulmates, and the development of their relationship is done at a wonderful pace, but the climax and ending weren’t the most satisfying. Luc is heartbreaking several times because he obviously cares so much and the right way, but Simon can’t see it~ Luc finding Simon working in the garden was precious and the way they have the connection and how it works is precious, but I feel like I wanted more. Overall, though, a great short story with a unique and wonderful take on soulmate tropes.
