A bit confusing, a bit all over the place, can those investigators (especially that old weird man) just fuck off, but it was a good read and I am happy to say I will be continuing the series. Want to see Kaneki grow, Touka be a bit kinder, and I am very curious about what other ghouls there are in this world and if Hinami will be fine.
The anime was way too much for me, but the manga is OK-ish for most (though some parts, oh nope) so that makes me happy as I have been interested in Tokyo Ghoul for a long time.

Here's a list of my thoughts regarding this volume:

1. Touka's annoying, even though I understand her side.

2. Uta's adorable and I love him.

3. Hinami is precious and I want to protect her forever.

4. Mado and Amon are boring as fuck and literally only exist to show how humans regard ghouls.

5. The CCG are also boring as fuck and I can't be bothered to care about the organization or the people. Yes, I understand they're relevant to the story, but I still don't care.

6. Kaneki making the first steps to start fighting is cool. Also I love watching him fanboy over books.

That's about it. Pretty good volume, all thing's considered.
