I love this book as an ending to the series.

Really more like 1.5. The Familias universe becomes even more annoyingly sexist (and I don't think the author quite meant it to appear that way, but it really, really is); the main romance is incredibly unsatisfying; and the action flits about hither, thither, yon and back again so often that the book has no center.

I do like the characters and the universe, not to mention the genre. But the book is (barely) readable and enjoyable despite itself... never a good thing.
