Very insightful to the world before Red Queen and then the Scarlet Guard operations during.
Queen Song was so sad and it revived my hatred for Elara. Cal’s father was kind of useless, to be honest. I wish Cal had known his mother. If he had had her guidance, he wouldn’t have been as confused and unable to make a decision. It’s also heartbreaking to think how Coriane didn’t want to have to fight in wars like his father had.
Steel Scars was great! Farley is AWESOME and she’s so freaking smart. It’s hilarious to see how she disobeys her father. I do wish we could’ve seen more of Shade and Farley. They’re so cute 🥺
