A wonderful story about a little kitty and his wild imagination!

I finally had the chance to buy this book, I have been eyeing it for the past year at least, so I am happy to finally have it in my hands and that I was able to read it late September!

In this adorable book we meet a little tiny striped orange kitten named Jeff. Jeff is not just a tiny kitten. Oh no, he is a FEROCIOUS tiger. With mighty ROARS. Look at his shadow, clearly a tiger right? It was just so cute to see this little kitty go all wild because it was raining outside and he couldn’t go outside! Yep, this is a perfect book for the colder months that will now have hit. Though, I don’t tend to go wild, but I do get the feeling of being stuck indoors when it rains.

And the fun really starts when Jeff finds his favourite armchair (filled with a beautiful plant/jungle pattern) and see him just dream about a wild wild jungle adventure! Full of snakes, big animals, big plants, but also… someone else! What will Jeff do when he encounters that? I really loved the jungle adventure and wish I could step into that jungle as well.

I loved how the book ended and loved how everything lands safely on its feet!

The art, well, it is Angie Rozelaar, one of my favourite illustrators, so I enjoyed every page! I love the endpapers as well! And the cover is A-Plus.

All in all, looking for a fun picture book about a cat with a big personality? Look no further and get this book!

This is an adorable book about a striped cat who goes on an adventure one day when he’s bored at home! It’s super cute and is a great read aloud! My 8&9 yr old boys loved it!

This would be a perfect storytime book! It uses rhymes and a refrain in a way that would work really well for an interactive session with kids. On top of that, it's full of bright colors and cute cat-isms.

What a fun, imaginative story about a tiny cat who walks around thinking he is really a "tiger."
One day when he approaches a tiger, he begins to realize to appreciate his strengths as a tiny cat.
