It was a cute read. Exactly how you expect the book to go. It was one of those that was predictable from beginning to end, the only thing that wasn't as predicable was some of the minor details.

What a charming romance! I really enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. From the very beginning I was invested. As the story progressed, I had a couple issues though. First, for 87% of the book the H is in a relationship with another woman. Second, the end was abrupt and just felt incomplete. And lastly, my biggest pet peeve,. BUT, I still greatly enjoyed reading this book and have put it on my keeper shelf. I recommend it to Elaine Fox fans and fans of cute romances between complete opposites.

This is a solid contemporary romance. Dogs, female friendships, babies. You want it, it’s got it. I really like Megan, as the competent vet who is very self aware. I liked Sutter’s character, though it didn’t feel very fleshed out. The dogs are hilarious, especially Georgia’s Danes.
