They made heavy use of repetition here, but that can work. In this case they were doing it to show the emotional state of Detective Chimp. I know that sounds weird, but it make sense when you read it, trust me. Most of the action happens at the end of the issue, but it wouldn’t have meant as much without all of the buildup.

Better then most in this news Justice league series... but something just doesn't seem to work well with this series... don't know what or why, but it always just bofff!
