I did not realize this was a mystery when I picked it up, so that was a pleasant surprise. This was a good mystery and I am excited that it is part f a series as I will need to look for more of the books in this series. There were a lot of possible killers and the reveal was great. I could definitely see something like this situation causing a murder.

A great conclusion to the series! This series has been one of my personal favorites from Meg Cabot, because I relate to it quite a bit (well, not the murdering parts, but I did work in Student Housing for years and she gets those little touches perfectly.) and Heather one of my favorite protagonists of hers. She's fairly level-headed compared to some, and logical, and has that snappy wit I love about Meg's books. I always enjoy Meg's writing of young adults, but I love her more adult-focused books.

This murder mystery felt a bit more tame than some of the others, but that was fine, because we needed to wrap up early enough to get to Heather and Coop's wedding. It was a perfect ending to a fun run of books. Looking forward to what Meg has up her sleeve next!

An entirely satisfying end for the Heather Wells series. After years of drama surrounding her love life and work life, things seem to be all set for Heather: her wedding is weeks away, and "Death Dorm" has undergone a makeover and is now the most popular dorm on campus. Though the latter may be more due to a special down resident than to the amenities of housing.

But, in good literary fashion, we're not far in before every wrench is thrown into the machine: another student is dead, half of the dorm staff is fired, and Heather finds that there's a lot of RSVPs that she didn't expect. Because she never invited them. Including her mother, whom absconded with all of Heather's pop-icon fortune years before.

This book preserves the humor and simmering sexiness of the previous books, coming to a satisfying conclusion. Maybe "Death Dorm" will never be "Totally Alive 100% No Problem Dorm," but you know that whatever happens, Heather Wells can handle it.

The latest installment of The Heather Wells series was just what I wanted!!! Heather finally got to confront her mom and married her true love, Cooper. I had some laugh out loud moments, and really enjoyed reading this book.

I did have a couple of problems with it that I can't seem to shake...At one point they say Heather didn't know her mother's address but I really thought in one of the earlier books someone (Cooper?) mentioned that she still sent her mother birthday cards. I also liked that we got to meet a few of Cooper's associates, but I was sad that this book had less of Heathers...hardly any interactions with Patty, Magda, Jordan or Tania. I am also not a huge fan of the introduction of Eva...it seems like they have such a history already, but she was not mentioned in any of the other books. Kind of threw me for a loop.

Love Heather Wells mysteries! The "mystery" part of this book was not very exciting compared to others, but Heather, Cooper and the other interesting cast of characters did not disappoint. Plus an extra bonus...one of my favorite Meg Cabot character made a cameo!

Great wrap-up to the series....or not? I'd like to hear the backstory to Heather's mom but don't want a reconciliation in any way.

I love Heather and Cooper's relationship. It is very sweet. I also liked the mystery in this book, having a murderer who is their age. Makes it more realistic and spooky.

Great book overall.
