I think in general I find fiction about famous people a bit cringey, along with fiction about Covid, so this started with strikes against it. I really liked it though, but did not think the humour element was very funny so that was tough. Still a really sweet read with very reaslistic relationship issues explored, which sometimes made me feel very frustrated! More of a 3.5

2.5, It was ok. There was almost too much political/covid commentary that I wasn't very interested in. Also, there's a HUGE chunk of "email correspondence" and it drags on quite a bit.
