The writing is lighthearted, while the topics are a bit heavy. Well written.

Emily Towson is the quintessential elementary school teacher, she's the good girl who doesn't rock the boat.
Enter, Tanner O’Connor, the town bad boy who gives zero f$#@& on who he might piss off. He's been dealt a really crappy hand in life, but he's made something for himself and his brothers. Little did he know making his fantasy of Emily a reality would change both their lives.

Just the right amount of drama, do I wish the characters would actually talk to each other? Yes! But where would the story be if everything was fixed easily, we need a little angst. This was a great start to the new series cause you definitely want to see what happens with Aiden and Reese and of course Mimi and Josh.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
The main reason why I requested this book form NetGalley, other than the pretty cover, was the whole accidental pregnancy premise, which is one of my favorite topes if done right. And I enjoyed the book, there were a lot of good parts to it but I also think that it could have been better. I mean, I felt that the story had a kind of depressing, gloomy vibe to it and it clashed with what I expected. I also need to mention that I have a thing with synopsis’s that tell too much about a book, and this one is a prime example of it. I just don’t like them much because they take away from the shock and surprise factor of the book and the synopsis of Handle with care pretty much summed up everything noteworthy happening in the plot.
The writing is great for the most part, I easily got into the story despite the fact that I usually prefer first person narrations over third person ones but in this case the author handled it exceptionally well. Maybe one of the best I read lately. Also the story is told from 4 POVs and basically it is two stories combined. First we got Tanner and Emily with a main plotline and the spotlight on them then there are Mimi and Josh, basically two secondary, supportive characters whom have their own plot line but also give a lot to Emily and Tanners too.
Personally, I think I would have loved Tanner and Emily if they stayed true to their real personality but both of them fallen prey to the town gossip and other people perception of them. They both made a lot of assumptions and couldn’t really communicate what they really felt and this complicated an otherwise simple and even sweet partnership into something that almost destroyed both of them.
Tanner is the town resident bad boy who made some mistakes when he was young but it was all due to the prejudice the people of Sadler Cove treated him with for something he didn’t have a say in. Yes, yes he was dealt a bad hand in life but instead of trying to be himself he became bitter and decided to act as others thought he should act. His bitterness and antagonistic nature towards the people in town caused a lot of trouble for him and Emily. When in truth, he is a sweet, caring and hard-working individual with a lot to give. I liked him but he also drove me mad with his stupid outburst that most of the time simply didn’t make any sense.
Emily was sweet and good and sensible. She always did the right thing but deep down she had a fierce and adventurous nature which Tanner had a habit to coax out of her. Really they were really great together until it was just the two of them. When the perception of others came into the picture they just jumbled up things. Communication, people, communication! Everything would have been so much easier if they were honest about their feelings and what they were thinking instead of blurting out things that they thought the other wanted to hear. It is just so stupid and frustrating.
The connection between them was undeniable form the beginning and they had some pretty spicy and steamy moments between them but their romance was more about getting to know each other than the physical stuff.
Then there was Mimi and Josh side of things which overall gave something to the story, but personally I didn’t really care about it, sorry but it just the truth.

It was a great one time read and I’m glad that I gave it a chance.

I started reading this book on chapters I got tired of having to pay for the good options, so I went out and found the book and wow omg am I glad I did. This book has twists and turns you'll never see coming.

Thank you to Net Galley and the publisher for this arc. This story was kind of sweet, I just didn't really like the main female character. I liked the male lead, and I like her grandmother a lot.

This is my first book by Miss Croft and it wont be my last! Handle with Care took me by surprise. Form the blurp I am expecting a typical cheesy romance between a good girl and bad boy. And boy I was in for a ride. A wonderful ride it is. This book has so many wonderful characters and moral story. For me the moral story is be fearless. Be yourself.

Emily is a typical good shoe woman who arrange her life to be in safe zone. But inside of her is a spirited sassy clever and fearless woman who longs to be freed. And she is pinning for the most bad boy in town, Tanner. Now the small town itself, Saddles Cove never been dull. There are also many wonderful supporting characters that play a major roles in the story. Especially Mimi. Oh I wish for a grandmother who still wants to ride Harley in her 70's.

I love the whole package. The story, the plot, the twist, the characters and the small town of Saddle Cove.

This is one of my Top Picks for 2018.

Excellent story, a quick start brought down to a sizzling burn. Loved the bad boy trope and the small town. The secondary storyline was genius and I think the author did a great job on hitting some tough topics without the story getting too dark.

I can't wait for book 2, 3, and even for mean, 'ol Jed Forrester to maybe get a second chance at true love.

This was an enjoyable read. That had enough about it to hold my interest and I liked the two main characters Emily and Tanner. Even if they did frustrate me, especially when it came to their relationship which had a will they, won't they quality to it and to be honest I'm not a huge fan of those. Plus, this one did drag on a little too long, particularly when one honest, proper conversation would have solved a lot of their problems.

Yet, the story itself was sweet, fairly angst free and I did particularly enjoy all the secondary characters including Tanner's two brothers and niece. As well as the additional romance between Emily's grandmother Mimi and Tanner's friend Josh.

And so I would certainly read more from this series in the future and would therefore recommend Handle With Care to others.

I found this melodramatic and long. The writing was good though.
