It’s a 1.5* for me. And the .5 is for the main story’s art (the short story’s art was some deviant art nonsense which only highlights Tynion’s self-indulgences).

I liked Harley’s redesign a lot. Her voice has been lost through.

The white power ranger is acting more and more like a Mary Sue with the over-familiar dialogue we’ve come to expect from self inserts (cemented by his custom radar-invisible *fighter jet* with a palatial bedroom for orgies). The OC’s are bland, the text is heavy-handed and bloated, Batman is barely competent when he’s not strapped to a chair in a gimp suit, and the plot moves with all the vitality of a slug on sandpaper.

Great Harley stuff and amazing art. Everything else is a bit muddled and I still don’t care about Ghost-maker! Having him keep popping up in the core story is more than enough and now they want to put a whole story of his own at the end of the book?! Please let him go, there’s no development for him.
