A mixed bag of paranormal the anthology has something for everyone. Modern day fae enforcers in NYC, dragon shifters, fated mates, Hunger Games like tournaments, and more. Of the 17 contributions, I loved three or four, enjoyed six others, and skipped or skimmed ones I found less interesting.

Definitely a good source for locating 'new-to-me-authors' at a bargain price.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of Throne of Slumber by Jamie Dalton, which is a part of this box set. I received the book this morning and have just finished it now— I absolutely devoured the story, because I could NOT put it down. It was fast paced without skipping over important details, easy to follow and thoroughly engaging. More than enough so to have me chomping at the bit to read the rest of these stories. Would rate 4.5 stars if the app would allow it. Phenomenal.

The story I am reviewing in the Fated Mates anthology is called By The Flame by Reina Torres. I enjoyed this story but I was not expecting a cliffhanger. I never read cliffhangers because I get too frustrated. For how much of the story that is there is you will like.

This review is for Throne of Slumber by Jamie Dalton

What a fantastic read! It catches you right from the start with the female main character who is the heir to the light fae throne. She is treated horribly. She is without magic so she is looked down upon. The story only gets more exciting when you meet the male main character. He is a dark fae. The story is an adventure of friendship, love and good overcoming evil. The story ends leaving you wanting more. I could not put this book down!

This was a good fantasy story that I am now hooked on. The story ends in something of a cliffhanger so I can't wait to see what happens next! The main character Aoife, is a fae princess who uses magic in a way that is not allowed. She is sent to live with The Wolf King and figure out what is poisoning their lands. Great story! Read it in one day. Couldn't put it down.

This is a review for Throne of Slumber by Jamie Dalton.

This is a fantasy gender bend retelling of The Sleeping Beauty.

You have Charlotte who is the light fae princess (who by the way is a plus size character!) and Jeb who is the dark fae prince. The way the world is currently ruled is the light fae kingdom rules it half the year and the dark fae kingdom the other half. But greed happens. All fae have some type of powers, except Charlotte…or does she?

Not only is this a gender bend retelling of Sleeping Beauty, this is also a story of self discovery, love, growth and change.

The story is a solid 4.5⭐️

I got this as an individual ARC from the author. This is my true & honest reviewing

This is also a review for Given to the Wolf King by Adalynd Grayves

This story is about a light fae princess who accidentally crosses the border of the humans kingdom while trying to save the forest and accidentally hurts some kids. The Wolf king and her father agree that she sold stay in the human kingdom for awhile to help bridge the fears.

But there is more going on than what they see.

If you like magic and fae then I highly recommend this story

The story is a solid 4⭐️
