Nothing new or shocking in this book, but a good, solid case for why Donald J. Trump should not be president of the United States or have access to any kind of power anywhere in the world.

I borrowed the audio book from my local library using the Libby App and was not obligated in any way to review it.

Having read most of the books & memoirs coming out of the Trump admin, for me Greg Miller's "The Apprentice" stands out as the most illuminating investigation into Trump's ascent, the GOP's complicity, Obama's abdication & Russia's aggressive sabotage of US democracy. Miller presents rigorous and irrefutable evidence from multiple independent sources of the scale and determination of the Russian campaign to assist's Trump's election.

If one has been trying to keep up with illegalities of the Dumbtruck criminal gang, little in this book will be new. It does, however, provide one of the most documented accounts of all that criminality and just plain stupidity. When you are President, it is, indeed a crime to be stupid. Bush43 was guilty. The current idiot is proving to be a very useful idiot to Putin. That makes the idiot a criminal.

An interesting insight into the 2016 US election and the fears held by many the way a foreign power such as Russia played a part in it plus Trump's strong denial and deep seated fear. My concern is that the book, although extensively research did rely quite heavily on articles from The Washington Post which is the publication Miller works for. It did touch on questions that a lot of people have asked about the Trump campaign but doesn't really delve into that.

But like many who have read books on this interesting time in history, it's kinda getting old and nothing of substance is coming out of these books.

If you've been following the news over the past year or so, I'm not sure this book adds anything new in terms of information or insight. That said, it was striking to see so much of this information all presented in the same place, step by step. In contrast to the drip of daily news reporting, seeing all of this presented in one book builds a compelling case that something inappropriate is going on in the Trump campaign's relationships with Russia.
